Welcome to Babathe X Luce CPI resto and gelato, a vibrant culinary hub located in the heart of Kota Makassar, Sulawesi Selatan. Nestled within the bustling Business Park, this unique establishment beautifully marries the rich flavors of Chinese and Indonesian cuisines with the delightful indulgence of gelato. With a modern and comfortable ambiance, it’s the perfect destination for food lovers aiming to savor delicious meals or simply unwind over exquisite desserts.
On your visit, you’ll find that Luce Gelato occupies the first floor, offering an impressive selection of gelato flavors that promise to tantalize your taste buds. Customers rave about the pistachio gelato, often described as exceptionally delicious, making it a must-try for dessert enthusiasts. The welcoming atmosphere, accentuated by a curated playlist featuring underrated Taylor Swift tracks, will keep you entertained as you indulge in sweet treats.
But the delight doesn’t stop at gelato. Ascend to the second floor to explore the best of babaThe. This section specializes in hearty Chinese and Indonesian dishes, crafted to cater both to individual diners and groups. The Nasi Campur babaThe, priced at IDR 59,100, has captured the attention of patrons for its generous portion and irresistible combination of flavors. With tender toppalada that evokes the comforting notes of beef rendang, accompanied by fluffy rice, beef floss, and crispy potatoes, it’s a dish that epitomizes culinary comfort.
While the menu boasts an array of tempting options—from savory main courses to delightful snacks and refreshing desserts—some dishes, like the intriguing Spaghetti with crispy chicken and sambal matah, showcase a bold fusion that may pique curiosity, albeit with varying levels of acceptance among guests. The prices are reasonable, starting from IDR 25,000, making it a popular choice for both casual diners and groups looking for shared meals.
Despite the bustling atmosphere, customers appreciate the cleanliness and comfort of the two-story layout, allowing for ample space to chat and enjoy meals. However, take note that peak times may bring a lively crowd, so be prepared for a vibrant dining experience.
In summary, Babathe X Luce CPI resto and gelato shines as a versatile dining destination. Whether you're in the mood for a satisfying meal or a sweet treat, this establishment promises to deliver an enjoyable culinary experience, making it a true gem in Makassar. Don’t miss out on the chance to explore the diverse flavors that await you!

babaThe and Luce Gelato are under one group. That's why, in their outlet at Center Point of Indonesia (CPI), they are located in the same place. The first floor is for Luce Gelato, whereas the second floor is for babaThe. This restaurant is so modern and comfortable. It's so comfy to stay here for a longer time babaThe provides variant of Chinese and Indonesian foods in single and sharing portion. The package menu for sharing started for 4 persons is available as well. I tried Nasi Campur babaThe (IDR 59,100). One of the recommended menu from babaThe. A plate of white rice with the tender toppalada (similar with beef rendang with the sweet and savory sauce), egg, beef floss, dried and crispy potato, pickles, along with rawon and sambal. The portion is big. It will make us full. A recommended rice with mixed toppings!

Was there just to try their gelato when it was raining. Have tried the one in their HQ so we know what to expect. Our only complain is it looks like there is renovation going on. Had to hear drilling noise from somewhere.

Have many food variations, some of them is questionable like Spagethi + crispy chicken + sambal matah. You can enjoy everythint from snack, main food, dessert (ice cream) and coffee. The price around 25k and above. Its a popular place so sometimes its hard if you want to relax or looking for quiet place.

Tried the medium-sized gelato (I chose lemon and earl grey flavours, price = Rp 36,000). Tasted ok (I felt it didn't taste as rich as it should be, too mild), but was smooth enough. Service good. They available as two-storey store; the place was cleaned and comfortable enough for you to have a chit-chat with your friends/others.

One of the most recommended places to eat in the CPI area. The food was superb, nice ingredients, and tasted good, the service was also fast. But sadly when I tried to order their newest 'Pisjolato', it was not available. They have the first and second floor for dining in. The first floor is the dessert shop, mainly gelato, and the second floor is their main restaurant. Overall very recommended to dine in with friends and family here.
